  • What do I need to bring to my Driver Medical Exam?

    Please bring the following to your Driver Medical Exam: your current drivers license, MTO medical examination forms, glasses or contacts (if you wear them), medical reports or test results from previous medical exams (that you have), and a list of your current medications.

  • Is the complete Driver Medical Exam available at your clinic?

    Yes. At our clinic, we complete the entire Driver Medical Exam required by the Ministry of Transportation.

    You can expect the following at during your Driver Medical Exam:

    • a complete physical examination
    • general assessment including height, weight, vision test, urine test for analysis as well blood pressure check
    • review of your past medical history
  • Are there age requirements for a commercial drivers license?

    Yes.

    • Drivers under the age of 46 must submit a medical report every five years.
    • Drivers aged 46 to 64 must submit a medical report every three years.
    • Drivers aged 65 and older are required to submit a medical report every year.

    To comply with Canadian and U.S. commercial driver regulations, as outlined by the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators, the ministry will mail your medical form 90 days before the due date.

    Please schedule an appointment with us to complete the form and return it by the deadline. Ensure your driver's license address is up-to-date to receive the form.

  • Does your clinic offer services in other languages?
